- Dever shows that Jesus is God incarnate. Dever explores the role of the Old Testament priests, and thus why it was important for Jesus to have something to offer. He contrasts the earthly tabernacle with the heavenly tabernacle, and how this shows the superiority of Jesus' ministry. Dever then looks at all the aspects of the New Testament which are superior to the Old Covenant.
