  • Once called "Greenhurst", this house on Thornton Avenue was home of Ben Green, so of Duff Green, nationally prominent pioneer settle who came here with the building of the East Tennessee and Georgia Railroad in 1851. Duff and Ben Green devoted many years to the development of the early community.
