Description
  • Jensen speaks on Psalm 116. Jensen looks at the theme : What should I render to the Lord for all his bounty to me? He looks at the context for the psalmist. Jensen look at all the things we have to point us to God, including not only the accounts in the Old Testament, but now also the coming, death and resurrection of Jesus. He looks at what a faithful response for all his bounty to us is to put our faith in Jesus. Jensen warns against becoming mechanical towards God, and losing your love for God and others, especially other believers. He shows that the gospel allows us to go in in thanksgiving to Christ, since nothing can surpass God's love for us in Jesus.
