• Transcript of a recording of life at the Rose River Mission. Report from the Rose River Mission. The daily life and communication is explained. Report looks at the work of Earl Hughes in reaching Indigenous Australians, and in learning and in preserving language. Hughes learns and sings the chorus 'Once I was blind but now I see' in Nunggubuyu. There is a recording of a corroborre song re-written with Christians lyrics. Explanation of church life, including part of a church service with the singing of 'Man of Sorrows' and communion. Report explains the school system, food, hunting and transport on the mission.
