Description
  • Webb preaches on Psalm 75:9-10. Asaph resolves himself to living a life characterised by praise and thanksgiving. Praise is a decision made and is not merely an automatic occurrence. A life lived in praise sets the believer out amongst others; evangelism should be closely linked with praise. Verse 10 echoes God’s promise in verse 2 to provide vindication for the righteous. Based upon the two verses, Webb encourages believers to resolve themselves, like Asaph, to a lifelong dedication of thanksgiving and praise to God. Based upon God’s role as vindicator and judge, Webb encourages listeners to be resolved not to be intimidated by the arrogant and wicked as we follow God.
