Two sets of Lollard martyrs hang over flames, from two separate gallows, while soldiers tend the fire under each gallows. A man on horseback directs the execution, which occurs during the first year of the reign of King Henry V (1413). This woodcut appears in the second (1570), third (1576), and fourth (1583) editions.
