  • Melville Szto, interviewed for the OCF Heritage Project, shares his journey from Klang, Malaysia, to Adelaide in 1965, where he studied chemical engineering and joined Overseas Christian Fellowship (OCF). He served as OCF Adelaide President (1968) and OCF Australia EXCO Chair (1969), emphasizing evangelism, discipleship, and doctrinal integrity. After graduating, he pursued theological studies at Adelaide Bible Institute, later serving as OMF’s first Singaporean missionary to Japan (1975-1994, 2003-2010). Influenced by Geoff Bingham and Harrold Stewart, he remains active in Singaporean church ministry, encouraging students to prioritize faith, evangelism, and church involvement.
