• Meyers speaks at the 2002 Men's Convention on following Jesus, and that this should compel our actions in life. He looks at our desire for adventure. Meyers explores Corinthians, comparing Corinth to the 21st century. He looks at the relationship between Paul and the Corinthians, and the way the gospel grips Paul. Meyers calls on the audience to be gripped by the gospel, such that they are hemmed in by the gospel. Meyers explores the risk of wealth. Meyers stresses that the love of Christ compels us to reach others with the gospel, as we are all affected by sin and death. He shows that the gospel is a power of God for those being saved. Meyers explores the repetition used in Paul's writing and throughout the gospels of the grace and changing our lives in response to the gospel/being sanctified.
