A man hangs chained from a tree by his left arm. He is dressed in loincloth. Two torturers stoop and crush his toes with pinching instruments. (Cartouche: "The Christians hangyng by one hand, and stretchyng out their ioyntes. 80.126." ["The Christians hanging by one hand, and stretching out their joints. 80. 126."]).
