Description
  • Shen Dah Cheong (born 1937, Shanghai) moved to North Borneo (now Sabah, Malaysia) in 1948 before studying architecture at Melbourne University (1959-1965). He was an early member of Overseas Christian Fellowship (OCF) and served as OCF Australia's first Exco Chair (1962-1965). Key figures include Jonathan Lee, Lee Bee Im, and David Fong (Exco members), Ian Bernard (IVF General Secretary), and Bill Lees (missionary). Shen later worked with Borneo Evangelical Mission and witnessed a revival in Sabah. He migrated to Sydney in 1985, staying connected with OCF. He reflects on OCF’s "reach, build, send" vision and shifting attitudes toward returning home. Shen Dah Cheong served as the first EXCO chair between 1962 and 1965.
