Description
  • Two talks - Talk 1 'Wind children' Fullam expounds John 3 and the discussion between Nicodemus and Jesus. He analyses what it means to be born again, critiquing common explanations of the passage. Fullam states that we must have both the word and the Spirit in order to be born again. Fullam explains the challenge of the Greek word used for spirit - when is it human spirit and when is it the Holy Spirit? He shows that we do not see the Spirit, but we do see the work and fruit of the Spirit. Fullam investigates the unpredictability of the Spirit. Talk 2 - Built upon the rock Fullam surveys three Old Testament passage to help make sense of the New Testament passage. (Isaiah 28, Isaiah 8, Psalm 118). He then expounds the Parable of the two builders from Matthew 7. 1. The foundation - laid by God, yet will be a rock of offense to the natural human ear. 2. The building of our lives upon that foundation - how will you respond? Cassette label reads : "Wind children Built upon the rock - Rev Terry Fullam HM795" Sound is crackly.
