  • Shead preaches on the theme of Godly wisdom based on 1 Corinthians 2:1-5. Shead begins by questioning the purpose of learning at theological college and the view that such study grows wisdom. In Christ we are mature and complete, and this is not attained through study. Godly wisdom is a secret wisdom, revealed exclusively through God alone. Ultimately, the wisest Christian is the one who understands, finds motivation in, and is shaped by the cross of Christ.
