  • Terra-cotta oil lamp, 1st century C.E. Provenance: Syro-Palestinian. Brown, buff clay. Half volute and full volute on nozzle. Left shoulder bulges. Heracles fighting Lernaean Hydra on discus. Indented-ring base. Condition: very fine. 8.4 cm length, 2.3 cm height. JPG file (107 KB).
