Description
  • Bowen encourages listeners to pursue peace and holiness, because without holiness no-one will be saved. God makes us holy, and thus we must make every effort not to turn away. Bowen looks at how people become defied, by being unfaithful to God using the story of Esau and Jacob. He warns his listeners not to trade God for success or material objects. Bowen reminds his listeners of the grace and mercy they have received and wonders why anyone would want to trade that in. He then warns against God's judgement, and the need to take our committment seriously. Ends with Question and Answer. Cassette label reads: "Hebrews 12:14-29 There is too much to lose 44 mins Tim Bowden 12/3/01 Monday AM Focus Getaway 5"
