  • William Cieslak (1946- ) was a Professor of Liturgy at the Franciscan School of Theology for 25 years. He was the president of FST from 1992 to 2004. Currently based in the Detroit Province, provincial director of Capuchin Ministries. He has been a keynote presenter at several national conferences, including the National Association of Pastoral Musicians (NPM), and is the author of Console One Another : Commentary on the Order of Christian Funerals (1990). He studied theology at the Franciscan School of Theology (FST) and lived with the Franciscans there. He continued his doctoral studies at the Graduate Theological Union and taught liturgy for two years in Milwaukee at St. Francis Seminary.
