  • Ashton speaks on the use of the tongue from James 1:19-27. He looks at the importance of humility, so that we put the word of God into practice. Ashton stresses that as we read the Bible we should be changed, as we are critiqued and challenged by God's word. Ashton looks at why it is hard to give attention to God's word. He stresses that our hearts should be changed, not external appearance. Ashton looks at how we use our tongues, including what not to say and what not to say. Ashton explores the challenge of being in the world without being corrupted by it.
