• Clark introduces the topic of missionary children, and the experiences of her young children in Hong Kong. Clark shares the impacts of growing up as a missionary kid has. Newmarches speak on the experiences of their children as missionary kids at a boarding school in Pakistan. He highlights the response of their kids on the return to Australia. David shares stories of friendships and exposures that their friends have had. He reminds the audience that learning to see this world as fleeting is essential, and that their kids have been able to really learn it. Smith shares experiences in Japan. She shares the longing for home that comes from feeling like they don't belong, and that this was also felt during home assignment. Smith shares the experiences of their kids, including a lack of Christian peers. Newmarches highlight some of the benefits, including confidence in crossing cultures, and being actively involved in mission. Talk is followed by questions.
