  • This book consists of the addresses and historical sketches of both Upper Ten Mile and Lower Ten Mile Presbyterian Churches, commemorating the one hundredth anniversary of the settlement of Reverend Thaddeus Dodd, the churches' first pastor. The Washington Presbytery appointed five pastors to participate by delivering addresses on August 28, 1879 in Ringland's Grove, Pennsylvania. Included are the histories of the two churches, the life of Reverend Dodd and his work with both congregations, and the Presbyterianism of Western Pennsylvania and its influence on the West.
