  • Jimmy Kuswadi, interviewed on October 20, 2021, by Joshua Sim and Bob Looi, shares his journey with the Overseas Christian Fellowship (OCF). From a non-Christian family in Indonesia, he won a Colombo Plan Scholarship in 1963, studying in Hobart. Converted through an Asian Bible study led by Jonathan Parapak, he joined the Evangelical Union (EU) and co-founded OCF Hobart, becoming its second president. After working in Sydney and marrying Jeannette, he returned to Indonesia in 1970, founding PERKANTAS. Back in Australia in 1974, he pursued engineering and later ministry, emphasizing hospitality and student ministry's value from his OCF experience.
