  • The St. Louis Old Cathedral is oldest Cathedral Church west of the Mississippi River. Its erection was begun in 1831 and the church was dedicated in 1834. It stands today the most venerable religious monument in St. Louis, a link uniting pioneer days with present-day glories of the West.
