Lithograph of Benjamin Keach. 1881. Benjamin Keach was born in Stokehaman, England, on February 29, 1640. He was converted at fifteen and baptized soon thereafter. In 1668 he was ordained pastor of the church of Horsleydown, Southwark, London. Throughout his life, Keach staunchly spoke against infant baptism, and he was frequently in prison for his preaching. He authored 43 works in all, the two most popular being Tropologia and Gospel Mysteries Unveiled. Keach died on July 18, 1704. JPG file (359 KB)
