This collection documents the history of the Unitarian Universalist Women’s Federation (UUWF), as well as its antecedent organizations: the Alliance of Unitarian Women and the Association of Universalist Women, which were consolidated into the Unitarian Universalist Women’s Federation in 1963. The UUWF is a national membership organization that works to advance justice for women and promote their spiritual growth. They are an independent, non-profit, 501c3 corporation and an associate member organization of the Unitarian Universalist Association. Materials date from the 1960s to approximately the 2010s and include administrative records, newsletters and periodicals, publications and workshop programs, yearbooks and directories, and 3-D objects like quilts, mugs, and pins.
