The University of Chicago Library is a hub that connects UChicago faculty, students, and staff in the exchange of information and the creation of knowledge, and provides a rich collection of resources that support our local community as well as scholars from around the world. Thirty-eight percent of the Library’s collections are in languages other than English, supporting faculty research with a global impact. The Library digitizes its own collections in order to provide greater access, preserve at-risk materials, and enable new forms of digital scholarship.
