Henry Whitney Bellows Papers

This collection contains the personal papers of Rev. Dr. Henry Whitney Bellows (1814-1882). It includes materials used or created by Bellows, materials originating from the Bellows family, and materials collected and/or maintained by Unitarian Church of All Souls in New York, New York. Collection materials date from 1846-2011 and include sermons and speeches, correspondence, congregation administrative documents (Unitarian Church of All Souls, New York), legal documents, and scrapbooks with newspaper clippings. The Henry Whitney Bellows Papers were acquired by Meadville Lombard Theological School from Unitarian Church of All Souls, New York in 2017 as part of a donation of its congregation’s historical records.
