Cistercian Liturgy Series

A study of the twelfth-century Cistercian Hymnal. In 1984, Chrysogonus Waddell sent the first volume of the Cistercian Liturgy Series, an edition and study of the twelfth-century Cistercian Hymnal, to Cistercian Publications in Kalamazoo for distribution and marketing. The fruit of many hours spent in European libraries, and on European trains, it was hailed by Citeaux: Commentarii Cistercienses as `A work of vast erudition' and `an important contribution to the history of Cistercian liturgy'.
