Can the Church of Christ in its present divided state meet the mighty and growing spiritual need of this great metropolitan center? ... I plead for a more perfect unity and co-ordination of the Christian forces, that their fellowship, enterprise and relative strength may be unitedly greater in presenting to the unreached populace the testimony of Christ."
