Jericho scarab, Middle Bronze Age II. Steatite, mounted on a bronze ring. Back: head blocked out. Base: amuletic signs arranged symmetrically. Two red crowns, one inverted flanking Horus. Condition: very fine; at the end of the back is a slight chip where ring meets the scarab. Scarab 1.6 cm width, 0.6 cm height; Ring, 2.4 cm width. JPG file (83 KB).
