  • This is Chapel Hill, one of the many inspiring worship centers at Lutherlyn. Chapel Hill was sponsored by St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Monessen, as a memorial to nine boys killed in World Ward II, and in honor of all those in service from their church. The Cross, made of cement, weights over 40 tons, is 30 feet above ground, and is cemented in solid sandstone 11 feet below ground.
