  • The city of childhood and school that trains for life is owned and maintained by the Loyal Order of Moose at Mooseheart, Illinois, forty miles due west of Chicago, on Highway 31. Here dependent children of deceased members of the Fraternity from the United States and Canada, are trained for life in a model city of homes, schools, churches, shops, stores, offices, playgrounds. The Child City covers over two square miles and comprises 110 buildings.
